TOPPAN Leefung has entered into an agreement to acquire full ownership of Shanghai Jiucheng Packaging Co., Ltd., following Haishun New Materials’ recent announcement regarding the divestment of its stake in the company.

Founded in the late 2000s, Jiucheng Packaging specialises in flexible composite and injection-moulded packaging solutions, serving a wide range of industries including personal care, food, pet food and industrial goods. The company operates a large-scale manufacturing facility in Nanxun, Zhejiang, and works with a number of well-known cosmetics brands such as AUPRES, Proya, Kans, Inoherb, One Leaf and OSM. Jiucheng Packaging is particularly well regarded for its expertise in facial mask packaging.

In recent years, Jiucheng Packaging has demonstrated stable business performance and improving profitability, supported by steady revenue growth and strong operational execution. The company’s results for the current year to date further reflect this positive momentum.

While TOPPAN NEXT has streamlined its paper-based printing operations in China over the past decade, this acquisition underscores the Group’s continued strategic focus on flexible packaging. Upon completion, Jiucheng Packaging will be fully integrated into TOPPAN NEXT’s China portfolio, strengthening its capabilities in high-growth packaging segments and reinforcing its long-term commitment to the market.
