Based in Singapore & Shanghai, Kenny is the SVP Group Brand & Marketing for TOPPAN NEXT and SVP for Hei Worldwide. Kenny’s background in design thinking and customer obsession came from his time at Deloitte Digital and GSK, both at their London HQs. He started within the TOPPAN NEXT umbrella in London as the head of marketing for then-startup, Toppan Digital Language. He then moved to Singapore to imagine, design, and deliver a full corporate rebrand overhaul of parent group TOPPAN NEXT. He now co-leads Hei, a human experience & innovation agency with offices in Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou. Kenny attended the General Management Program at Harvard Business School and holds an MSc in Management from London Business School and a BA Economics from Northwestern University and the Kellogg School of Management.

How would you describe the company culture at TOPPAN NEXT?

The most subjective yet most important part of any company is its culture. There is an unspoken agreement at TOPPAN NEXT that it is better to live our values, rather than just talk about them. We see it in how people are hired, how emails are written, how differences are addressed. This leads to less ‘policing’ of activities, and higher trust in just doing the right thing, which is core to encouraging entrepreneurship and new ideas.
